I found myself most drawn to Alice herself. She’s not a neat, perfectly behaved heroine, and I liked that.

The second book of Alice deepens both the mythology and Alice's emotional journey, while introducing one of the story’s most memorable new characters, Agapogo. I like the way it follows Alice as she escapes deeper into the mysterious Underworld, a vast hidden realm of caves, underground lakes, tunnels, lost cities, and ancient secrets.

Alice, Cricket and Two Dogs seems like a gentle story wrapped in familiar tropes: a child, a threat, an escape into the wilderness. But what unfolds is something both stranger and more emotionally textured. Told in 24 interlinked stories, the novel walks a fine line between fable and fantasy, realism and quiet surrealism. At its heart is a nine-year-old girl, her two fiercely loyal dogs, and an unlikely guide—a cricket made intelligent by a cosmic event. And somehow, it works.

An amazing book and a unique journey for Alice. Each chapter was a cliff hanger making me want to read more and guess what will happen next to her. Would honestly highly recommend checking this book out. Great job to the author 👍🏽

Aaron. Great Read.
Serge Gregory’s Alice, Cricket, and Two Dogs presents a fascinating mix of adventure, mystery, and fantasy, with a strong emphasis on survival, loyalty, and the supernatural. The novel’s premise—following a courageous young girl, her two devoted dogs, and an enigmatic talking cricket—creates an engaging and imaginative storyline.

Vlad. Excellent book.
This book takes the story of Alice to an entirely new level, expanding the world far beyond what readers might expect. The Underworld is vividly imagined, filled with vast underground landscapes, forgotten cities, mysterious waterways, and ancient secrets that create a constant sense of wonder and danger.

That looks really cool so far. The story line gets interesting... I never expected it to go into magic! And based on how it's left off, like a cliffhanger, it will definitely make readers want to read the second book.

Alfia. Amazing book.
Amaizing story with touch of magic. Started to read it for our grandkids and could not stop until the last page. Now is waiting for the next book. Our grandkids love this story.
