Tael Morh is the ancient Miner name for dragons. Alice discovers that Agapogo, believed to be a giant water serpent, is actually one of the Tael Morh.
Arg-tael Morhan is a phrase in the ancient Miners' language meaning "Dragon must fly." When Alice speaks these words, Agapogo responds in a way that reveals his true nature.

Lone Bird is Shaman's sister and one of Alice's most trusted allies. Living in the isolated Enchanted Valley with her young companion Lisa, she has dedicated her life to preserving tribal history, artifacts, and traditions. When Shaman fears that Alice may be discovered, he sends her to Lone Bird for protection. Offering both shelter and guidance, Lone Bird becomes an important teacher and friend. It is through Lone Bird that Alice first learns many of the ancient tribal traditions and phrases that later prove important on her journey. She later joins Alice on the journey to the Underworld and the Sanctuary.
Lisa is a talented artist and one of Shaman's most trusted allies. Raised in the Enchanted Valley by Lone Bird, she studied art in Italy and became known for her paintings, many of which are displayed under different names in galleries and museums. Intelligent, observant, and highly analytical, Lisa often notices details that others overlook. Her insight proves invaluable in helping Shaman's team uncover hidden truths and understand the intentions of both friends and enemies.
The Almighty is a mysterious and powerful force operating behind many of the events in the Alice series. It is responsible for ordering Matilda to begin the hunt for Alice, setting the story in motion. Throughout the series, characters struggle to understand who—or what—is manipulating events from the shadows. The truth is not revealed until the final chapter of Alice and Agapogo.
