Agapogo — an ancient horned serpent who lives in the underground lakes of the Underworld. He becomes Alice's friend and guide during her journey beneath the mountains.
Tael Morh is the ancient Miner name for dragons. Alice discovers that Agapogo, believed to be a giant water serpent, is actually one of the Tael Morh.
Arg-tael Morhan is a phrase in the ancient Miners' language meaning "Dragon must fly." When Alice speaks these words, Agapogo responds in a way that reveals his true nature.
